More nonsense from class here. So we were trciked into creating bizarro hybrid animals and my penguin with webbed feet, a long tail and a lion's head proved an unstoppable opponent. I coloured it pink because I had never seen a pink penguin before and frankly, I wanted to see a pink penguin.
I'm halfway through guiding a group of year 5s and 6s through the same activity. Some of them are on the track to awesome, others remain parked in failure street. failure street is so failure stricken that it doesn't even get a capital letter, even when it starts a sentence.
